TSPS Program Overview

The program runs every year in the month of July. There are three days of orientation (Indonesian language & culture), three weeks of lectures, field trips and freetime. Upon completion of the program students will receive a certificate. As well, official university transcripts will be made available.

Visiting students are required to register for the program and pay all academic fees in advance. This is discussed below in a separate section(see Academic Fees). Of course, each student will be responsible to pay for their housing, food, local transport and personal items while in the program. An approximate local operating budget is available at Sample Budget). Overall, because of relatively low operating costs in Indonesia, participation in the program should be a reasonably affordable experience for most students from developed countries. The cost of transportation to and from Manado depends on point of origin. Some sample travel costs are presented on the Academic Fees page.
