This Faculty is developed to answer the needs of community health workers who daily
tackle problems in the field of public health. The vision of the Faculty is to be a leading community
health education institute in the fields of Education, Research, and Community Services.
The Faculty has 722 students (2010) and is staffed by 63 lecturers holding Master’s or PhD
degrees (among whom are 6 professors) .
Fields of Specialization:
- Health Policy Administration
- Environmental Health
- Public Health Nutrition
Besides research and teaching, the Faculty is engaged in collaboration with major hospitals in North Sulawesi Province.
In addition the Faculty has also collaborated with World Health Organisation (WHO) and Gadjah Mada university in the form of research grants and academic activities.
