Academic Fees
Academic fees consist of three parts: tuition fees, laboratory fees and field trip fees. These are:

Budget
The following is an estimated budget for local costs of a visiting student who participates in the one-month Tropical Environment Studies Program for International Students which runs in the summer.Note: Visiting students are strongly advised to buy health insurance in their home countries for the entire period they plan to be in Indonesia – this is not included in the local budget shown below. Also not included are costs for other types of insurance coverage, anti-malaria medication or other medical drugs, souvenirs and gifts, or extended personal travel while in Indonesia.- Accommodation (breakfast incl.) – estimated at 60 $US/week for 4 weeks …….. 240

Sample Travel Budgets
Obviously, the cost of travel to Manado will depend on where you come from and how you buy your ticket(s). Some items you should include in your travel budget are (estimated costs in $US):
